Christopher Thomas is Real-Estate entrepreneur most known for assisting first-generation homebuyers. The mission of his company is to “Help motivated people achieve their real-estate goals”. He works tirelessly to make sure there is the opportunity, regardless of past circumstances.
Christopher bought his first home at age 18 and has been passionate about real-estate since. He founded a brokerage in 2008 which has grown tremendously and is recognized as one of the best in Rochester. He credits this success to a desire to help as many as possible. Future ventures include developing communities targeted at improving the lives of disadvantaged individuals.

I have been a part of the wonderful world of real estate going on 10 years! I have the pleasure of working with clients from all walks of life. My focus has been credit preparation that not only helps them get to the end result of obtaining a mortgage to purchase a house, but also to help make each of them more productive and successful human beings.
I am a Rochester native, so I love the community I sell homes in. I have a specific liking for the Maplewood area of Rochester. I love the area because of the make up of the classic colonial styled homes and because of the prestigious schools such as Aquinas, community aesthetics such as The Rose Garden, and all the historic churches. 6 years ago, I earned a seat to represent this very area on the Monroe County Democratic Committee. As part of this community, I give Maplewood a voice! In the last year I have had the honor to speak with many school board members, and councilman as well as vote on local issues concerning the Rochester Community.
Out of all the things that real estate brings being able to walk alongside our clients as they step into the attorney’s office to sign closing documents at the closing table has been a motivating force for me! I get to see them transition from nervous uncertain clients to prepared and confident first-time homeowners. I’m especially grateful for those clients that are first generation homeowners. They have never seen it done but knew how important it was to break generational curses.
Over the last eight months I’ve assisted in forming the first ever GRAR Black Caucus. I am proud to say we have collectively come up with a mission and vision to promote the advancing of Black home ownership, educate, and provide a platform for success of other Black agents in the greater Rochester community.
In the next year I will continue to attend trainings and obtain as much education as possible. This continued education will allow me to be more equipped to assist our clients. I look forward to continuing the journey and helping to shape the Rochester community!

Eric remembers it like it was yesterday when he first called Christopher Thomas about representing his wife and himself as their Realtor during their home buying process in 2010. They were excited but needed guidance. The relief they felt knowing that Chris and his wife Ty Thomas would be assisting them during the process was comforting. That’s the reason he join the New 2 U homes team in 2017. He realized that there are a lot of individuals that just need some direction as they once did. His firsthand experience is what pushes him to help others along their real estate journey, if you’re buy or selling.
Rochester NY is the only place he has called home. He was born and raised in the 19th Ward, so he has no problem navigating through that area in regards to helping individuals who are interested in residing there. Wilson Magnet High School, The Boys and Girls club, University of Rochester, Brooks Landing, S.W.A.N. and numerous churches add to the popularity for the area. However, through his experience Rochester has a lot to offer in many areas including the surrounding suburbs, as he has done some traveling in those areas to help his clients find their perfect home.
Although every client’s home journey is different, he takes great pleasure in helping motivated individuals achieve their dream of home ownership. The New 2 U homes motto “From Credit to Close” encompasses everything that he provides for his clients during the process.

I was born and raised in the 19th Ward and have lived in the North Winton Village for almost 10 years. It is my honor to represent and support fellow and future Rochesterians in preserving and enhancing the unique culture and historic value of our community through homeownership.
Professionally, I’ve worked with local organizations that focus on community empowerment & development; as a result, I’ve seen first-hand the desires and needs that Rochesterians seek: financial health and independence.
Having this working knowledge coupled with a passion to help others accomplish their goals, fueled the passion and provided the foundation for me to become a Realtor.
Without question, home ownership is an enhancement to the community…but for me, becoming a Realtor was more than listing and selling houses; I realized the impact it had on the individual.
